At Richmond Creche and Kindergarten we are very lucky to have a wonderful catering officer, Alana who cooks for us each day. The children are offered fruit for morning tea and a cooked lunch with second course. Afternoon tea varies from dips and veggie spears to home made cakes. Alana cooks with minimal refined sugars and salt, naturally sweetens meals with homemade date paste, honey, low gi sugar etc. and uses seasonal fresh produce where possible. Any food waste is used in our worm farms and compost bins.
