How do I enrol my child?

If you would like your family to be a part of the RCK community join our waitlist as soon as possible. We accept waitlist applications all year round and as soon as a position within the centre becomes available we will contact you to offer you a place. To accept the offer you will complete an enrolment pack.

What are the enrolment fees?

There is a $40 non-refundable fee to join the waitlist.

How does priority placement work?

The Australian Government has 'Priority of Access Guidelines' for allocating places. The guidelines only apply to Child Care Benefit approved child care. They are used when there is a waiting list for a child care service or when a number of parents are applying for a limited number of vacant places.

First Priority. A child at risk of serious abuse or neglect.
Second Priority. A child of a single parent who satisfies, or of parents who both satisfy, the work/training/study test under Section 14 of the 'A New Tax System (Family Assistance) Act 1999.
Third Priority. Any other child.

We then prioritise third priority children as follows:
First Priority. Current family.
Second Priority. Living or working in Richmond.
Third Priority. Any other child.

What is the difference between enrolling & joining the waitlist?

Joining the waiting list registers your interest in a place for your child at RCK. Enrolling is completed once a place has become available, we have made you an offer for your child to attend RCK and you have completed the enrolment pack.

Due to the demand for places at RCK, unfortunately not everyone who joins the waiting list can be offered a place for their child at their preferred starting date. We recommend joining the waiting list asap for the best chance at a place for your family in our RCK community. We offer places all year round when they become available.
